Yes! The internet is made of cats!

I have been known to proclaim that the real rulers of Planet Earth is the Cat Species. They have managed to invade the lives of geeks, commanded them to build an internet so that cat culture can become ubiquitous and now, we all know the internet is the most dominant and pervasive force in the world- and so, we all serve….CATS!

The killer cat app that no catlover can live without. Go here now and sign up, you will NEVER be bored again.

and via YouTube coms Standing Cat

Standing Cat has become quite the internet phenomenon in recent days. French internet culture journalist Aude Baron has been digging into the story behind this little guy, and writes,

The cat’s name is Rocky. He is 2 years old and his owners are French (Daisy and Yann). Rocky used to stand up because he couldn’t see the birds through the windows, and wanted to, so he stood up. Why does he raise his leg in the middle of the video? Probably because there was a bird outside, according to Daisy, or maybe a dog wandering around. Rocky hates dogs.He doesn’t stand up too often any more because Daisy and Yann moved their stuff, so now Rocky can see everything without having to go bipedal. He’s also able to sit on his bottom like a human (this cat is crazy). Basically, that’s it 🙂

Then….barely a few days later comes this mash-up of Standing Cat – more evidence of the Creative Economy of how people remix existing content by adding a dash of their own creativity.

And now…for the dryest humour ever- two engineers with clearly no girlfriends to suck up their time and mashing up the science of engineering with the art of being feline. Very adorable….the engineers that is!
